Manager, Parts Warehouse  

 
Position Overview: 

The Manager, Warehouse and Parts for our Louisville location will oversee all operations of the central kiosk parts distribution center. This position is responsible for leading a team of warehouse associates to deliver daily execution and new projects, representing the warehouse in cross-functional initiatives, and identifying and driving execution of continuous improvement activities. 

Operations of the parts warehouse include receiving new supplies, new parts and field returns, warehousing, and shipping parts and supplies for the Redbox field. The Parts warehouse also performs refurbishment of certain high-end parts (e.g., touch screens, computers, etc.). The Manager is responsible for ensuring all parts are handled in a safe and efficient manner. 

Internally, this position requires regular cross-functional collaboration with Field Operation teams, Finance/Accounting, Procurement, and IT.  The successful candidate will be a strong leader with the ability to drive continuous improvement and best practices across the supply chain organization and to identify opportunities for further warehouse optimization. 

Externally, the manager will work with vendors and service providers to ensure service levels are met and to identify and negotiate cost saving opportunities. 

 
Key Responsibilities: 

  • Meet warehouse KPIs/SLAs for receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures 
  • Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage system  
  • Establish and monitor security procedures and protocols to safeguard warehouse operations and contents  
  • Lead warehouse staff – set and manage individual and team goals, monitor performance, coach associates; lead performance review process and all recruiting/hiring as deemed necessary  
  • Prepare and manage an annual budget and work with finance team to analyze variances and initiate corrective actions  
  • Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement  
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforce adherence to requirements; advise management on needed actions  
  • Establish collaborative relationships across Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Technology  
     

Education & Experience 

  • Associate Degree in Business, Operations Management, Logistics (or related field) required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred 
  • At least 3 years automated retail supply chain distribution experience or 5 years warehousing/distribution center experience required  
  • Successful supervisory experience strongly preferred  

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

  • Customer service orientation and dedication to meeting the needs of internal clients 
  • Highly skilled project management and collaborative alignment and influence capabilities  
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to present data and presentations to suppliers, staff, and executive leaders  
  • Experience implementing Six Sigma and Lean Concepts 
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Experience with creating a variety of charts and graphs to represent analytical results  
  • SAP Experience is a plus  
  • Successful experience training and mentoring others 
  • Demonstrated career ambition and commitment to self-development. Actively seeks opportunities to expand knowledge and experience  
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for market visits or meetings with Third Party Providers  

 
Compensation: $70,000 - 80,000/yr + Bonus and LTIP  
 
Location: Louisville, KY (onsite) 

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is provided per CA SB 1162 (“CA Pay Transparency Law”). Base pay information is based on market location. Learn more about ecoATM benefits here.

This position may also be eligible for short-term and long-term incentives based on individual and company performance.
