Position Details

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Manager to lead our team in building and delivering high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing and developing DevOps teams, as well as deep technical expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS), CI/CD platforms, architecture, and tools.

Responsibilities

· Defining the DevOps vision and roadmap: Aligns with the organization's overall goals and sets clear direction for team efforts.

· Developing and implementing DevOps metrics and KPIs: Measures team performance and effectiveness, driving continuous improvement. Prioritizing DevOps initiatives working with cross-functional teams.

· Hiring and building a high-performing DevOps team: Attracts and retains top talent, cultivates a culture of collaboration and learning.

· Mentoring and coaching team members: Provides guidance and support, fosters individual growth and development. Empowering team members and encouraging ownership.

· Designing and implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines: Automates build, test, and deployment processes for faster release cycles.

· Identifying and implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions. Automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration

· Developing and implementing monitoring and alerting systems

· Implementing security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle

· Evaluating and selecting best-in-class DevOps tools and technologies. Explore and innovate new cloud and HA technologies, features and tools, and testing.

· Staying updated on the latest DevOps trends and technologies.

· Promoting DevOps practices and culture across the organization

Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· 10+ years of experience in DevOps, with at least 5 years of experience in a management role managing at least 4 or more engineers. (Experience managing remote employees a must).

· Extensive experience with public cloud technologies a must (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a must AWS preferred.

· Expert knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure and services such as EC2, EKS, RDS, load-balancers, API gateways, CloudWatch and Lambda.

· Expert knowledge of cloud networking DNS, Application Firewalls, VPC routing, and security groups

· Expert knowledge of Github, Jenkins, docker containers and code build and deployment processes and tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

· Strong knowledge of lambada and serverless technologies.

· Experience automating software builds and deployments using Jenkins, Terraform, CloudFormation’s or similar technologies.

· Experience building and supporting SaaS solutions utilizing microservice architectures with API based frameworks and integrations.

· Deep understanding of the software delivery process with the ability to implement and enforce the process across the organization.

· Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud services.

· Excellent project management skills (understands both Agile and Waterfall methodologies).

· Experience in working in under documented environments.

· Experience with Agile development, Scrum and Kanban

· Excellent communications skills with the ability to communicate with internal/external customers, vendors, management etc. in both formal and informal situations.

Business Travel 5%

Location: Remote, US

Pay Range: $165,000-$195,000 + bonus + LTIPS

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is provided per CA SB 1162 (“CA Pay Transparency Law”). Base pay information is based on market location. Learn more about ecoATM benefits here.

This position may also be eligible for short-term and long-term incentives based on individual and company performance.
