Sr. Technical Service Specialist
TurboCell has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Technical Service Specialist to join our team, working directly with Field Service Operations, Engineering and Product Testing teams and focusing on Product Technical Support, Training, and Startup/Commissioning.

Therefore, the Sr. Technical Service Specialist must be agile and comfortable in a rapidly changing environment. The right person should be professional, trustworthy with confidential information, highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work equally as well independently as with a team.
Key Responsibilities
Include but are not limited to:
- Lead field startup/commissioning activities including the development of commissioning plans and providing onsite support to ensure all Edged Infrastructure products and systems are commissioned according to compliance, safety, and customer requirements.
- Provide support to the product development, engineering, and factory testing teams to ensure all Edged Infrastructure products are tested according to compliance, safety, and customer requirements.
- Provide remote or onsite expert level technical support to the Operations Field Service Technicians on all Edged Infrastructure products and systems.
- Lead technical support training activities including the development of product and safety training aids and curriculum to ensure the Operations Field Service Technicians are certified to startup, commission, repair, and maintain all Edged Infrastructure products and systems.
- Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action initiatives.
- Support service process enhancements, workflow optimization, and new service tools.
- Support development of product job aids, work instructions, and technical bulletins.
- Travel requirement up to 85% of the time.
Skills & Requirements
Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Hands-on experience with diagnostics, testing equipment, and service tools.
- +10 years of experience in the Microgrid Industry including engineering, field service, commissioning, or technical support areas with a focus on Power Generation, Switchgear, and/or Battery Systems.
Specific Skills / Abilities
- Expert in electrical and mechanical schematic interpretation and understanding.
- Expert in AC/DC Electrical Theory.
- Expert in switchgear controls, battery, or Power Generation troubleshooting and repairs.
- Expert in switchgear controls, battery, or Power Generation controls and programming.
- NFPA 70E and certification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate professionally and clearly.
- Demonstrates the ability to comply with all safety requirements and regulations.
