FP&A Controller — Performance Controlling

Remote - US

Endeavour has an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about sustainability and eager to be part of an innovative company that’s on a journey to transform the world’s infrastructure.

We are seeking an FP&A Controller — Performance Controlling to join the TurboCell and Edged Infrastructure team, working directly with the Chief Financial Officer, and focusing on consolidating results, running the budget and forecast cycles, and turning two very different businesses—equipment manufacturing and infrastructure projects—into one clear performance picture for leadership.

This role is part of the support team that services the entire our Endeavour ecosystem and contributes to the overall health and success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to:

Performance Controlling & Analysis

  • Own monthly variance analysis of actuals against budget, forecast, and prior year across both entities; identify anomalies and underperformance and push corrective action.
  • Consolidate TurboCell and Edged results into a unified performance view—across income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow—for senior management.
  • Build and maintain KPI frameworks—margin, cost, cash, and productivity—tailored to each business model.

Planning & Forecasting

  • Drive the budget, forecast, and long-range planning cycles across both entities, consolidating inputs into integrated projections across the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow.
  • Build and maintain driver-based models that support scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and strategic decision-making.
  • Support capital allocation and capex prioritization across the two entities, providing the analysis leadership needs to deploy resources where they earn the best return.
  • Coordinate financial and reporting processes and lead monthly business review meetings.

Risk Management

  • Identify, quantify, and monitor financial and business risks across both entities, and maintain a clear view of key exposures and mitigations for leadership.
  • Track risks and opportunities against forecast, and ensure they are reflected in the numbers presented to management.
  • Support the design and monitoring of controls and early-warning indicators that flag performance and financial risk.

Business Partnership & Reporting

  • Act as a finance business partner to entity and executive leadership, translating financial results into clear, actionable insights that drive decisions.
  • Present overall consolidated numbers and performance insights to management clearly and concisely.
  • Engage proactively across different parts of the organization—Operations, Commercial, Procurement, Treasury, and entity finance—to collect inputs, validate assumptions, and ensure reporting reflects business reality.
  • Prepare internal management reports, board, investor, and lender packages, and ad hoc analyses.
  • Partner with the Manufacturing Controller and Commercial Project Manager to align cost, project, and portfolio reporting.

Systems, Digitalization & Continuous Improvement

  • Support the NetSuite rollout and build scalable reporting and dashboard capability (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Drive digitalization of the reporting landscape—automating data collection, consolidation, and management reporting to reduce manual effort and improve timeliness and accuracy.
  • Standardize definitions and data, drive automation, and improve the speed and quality of financial reporting.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business; CPA, CMA, or progress toward one a plus.
  • 2–5 years in FP&A, controlling, audit, or a similar analytical finance role; a high-potential early-career professional eager to learn and grow into broader controlling responsibility.
  • Solid U.S. GAAP knowledge; exposure to consolidating results across legal entities is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel and hands-on experience with (or strong appetite to learn) a BI or reporting tool; familiarity with the NetSuite ecosystem is desirable.

Specific Skills / Abilities

  • Strong variance analysis, financial modeling, and consolidation skills.
  • Driver-based modeling and scenario-planning ability, with a curiosity for what moves the numbers.
  • Digitalization skills, particularly in reporting—automating and streamlining data collection, consolidation, and management reporting with modern BI tools.
  • Risk management awareness—able to identify, quantify, and communicate financial and business risk.
  • Growing ability to present overall numbers and performance to management clearly, and the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels (CEO, CFO, entity heads).
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills—able to work through colleagues across the organization who do not report to this role to collect inputs and build alignment.
  • Ambitious, coachable, and eager to take on new responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
