Private Client Placement Specialist
Location: Remote
Position Overview:
The Private Client Placement Specialist works as part of the risk assessment and placement team that supports sales and account management within Private Client. This role will be primarily focused on the marketing of high net worth and ultra-high net worth opportunities and including new placements as well as renewal activities.
Critical Job Functions:
- Develop and maintain superior knowledge and expertise of carrier markets and their appetites
- Work with the expanded Private Client teams to market both new and renewal business
- Analyze client needs and contrast with existing coverage to identify potential gaps, opportunities, and solutions
- Professionally educate the client through detailed illustrations of coverage options
- Advocate for the client by developing detailed knowledge of our client, their needs, and unique exposures
- Produce accurate proposals
- Follow all procedures in new account and renewal process
- Complete all pre and post-sale paperwork
- Initiate a consultation with the appropriate account manager to introduce them to the nuances of a new account
- Assist in the annual review process for private client accounts
- Develop cooperative professional relationships with our insurance carrier underwriters for the purpose of achieving the desired result
Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of private client insurance experience.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, take direction from multiple sources, and prioritize using sound judgement
- Must be accurate, detailed and thorough
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills
- Strong business writing skills
Educational requirement:
- College graduate or experience equivalent
- Possession and maintenance of a broker’s license in state hired.
Technology/skills requirement:
- Ability to perform coverage analysis
- Proficient in navigating insurance company websites
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
The national average salary for this role is $80,000 to $100,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
