JOB OVERVIEW:
As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, your primary responsibilities will be to process EPIC’s Accounts Receivable for Agency billed invoices. This position requires strong analytical, written and verbal skills which will give you the tools necessary to successfully complete your tasks and lend support to your colleagues.
Your proactive nature, attention to detail, quality and proven organizational skills will provide the basis needed to initiate and work multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You are committed to accuracy, excellent customer service, professionalism and going the extra mile.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Post/apply electronic bank receipts, lockbox checks, ePay Policy credit card and ACH’s receipts accurately and timely.
- Daily review and batch posting of lockbox applications that are completed by our outsourcing partner. Answer any discrepancies inquiries.
- Timely and consistent follow up to resolve client premium and payment discrepancies.
- Process financed cancellations and return premiums. Maintain financed file within document storage system.
- Review aged receivable report weekly to clean up various entries, issue any refunds in a timely manner and make collections on any past due items.
- Review, coordinate and process client refunds.
- Able to research and respond to high volume of inquiries (email & Phone calls) timely and appropriately.
- Service client accounts that require special handling such as premium tracking and reconciliations.
- Review and process any bad debt items with our 3rd party collection agency. Help to resolve any inquiries regarding those accounts.
- File AR documents into our electronic filing system timely and accurately.
- Act as a back-up for other Accounts Receivable team members as needed.
- Review shared email inboxes and process items accordingly in a timely manner.
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
PERSONAL AND ORGANIZATIONSAL DEVELOPMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Use good judgment and show initiative in approach to daily tasks and deadlines.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Insurance Accounting Experience preferred
- College degree preferred but not required
- Possess basic knowledge of agency accounting as it relates to client receivables
- Experience with Agency Management Systems such as Sagitta and ImageRight preferred
- Adobe knowledge and experience preferred
- Work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
- Organized, attention to detail and accuracy
- Must be a team player
COMPENSATION:
The national average salary (change "salary" to "hourly rate" for all non-exempt roles) for this role is $200 000.00 - $250 000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
