JOB OVERVIEW:

At EPIC, HR is more than just solving people problems. It’s having a seat at the table, partnering with business leaders, and delivering results to drive organizational growth. We are searching for a high potential HR Associate who will provide every day operational support and expertise to our dynamic HR team and employee base. The successful candidate will play a key role in the success of the organization by running and improving the HR processes that support a population across the nation. EPIC is growing rapidly and along with that growth we are rapidly building out new capability by adding world class talent, and industry leading technology and processes. We seek a high energy, agile individual who can deliver on the current operational needs and evolve with us.

 

LOCATION: HYBRID - Must be willing & able to work at least 3 days a week in our Atlanta (Sandy Springs), GA office

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • REQUIRED: Experience working in an HR role or department, OR a degree or certification in HR (such as SHRM-CP).
  • MUST HAVE high attention to detail and be highly proficient in technology. This role performs a high-volume of data entry tasks related to sensitive HR information in a fast-paced environment, so accuracy is of the utmost importance.
  • Strong communicator (both written and verbal communication) who enjoys providing top-notch customer service to internal stakeholders from all levels of the organization.
  • Adaptable team players who can balance a variety of tasks and prioritize what has the highest level of urgency.
  • HR professionals eager to learn and grow!

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

A detailed list of job duties includes (but is not limited to):

  • Answers employee questions and requests with high level of customer service
  • Act as subject matter expert, communicate and monitor adherence to company policies including EPIC’s employee handbook and other standalone policies
  • Conduct all pre-hire, onboarding and orientation steps, and lead orientation for new hires
  • Maintain and update, as needed, employee data stored in HRIS, including new hire, termination, and employee change processes
  • Provide guidance on paid time off and time away from the office
  • Facilitate termination processes, prepare term and severance letters
  • Facilitate all internal processes such as pay changes, promotions, terminations, leaves of absence, etc.
  • Provide data and HR-related metrics where needed for analysis
  • Update universal HR templates and documents as needed
  • Stay abreast of ever-changing employment laws
  • Recommend new approaches and procedures for continual improvement within the HR function
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

  • Ability to effectively leverage HR technology (HRIS and ATS systems)

  • Strong work ethic, encouraging excellence and enthusiasm among staff
  • Strong leadership and consulting skills with the ability to build trust, respect, and cooperation
  • Dedicated to the HR field and strong commitment to achieving results
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs and HRIS systems

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or related discipline preferred but not required
  • Nice to have: HR certification (such as SHRM-CP) 
  • 2+ years of HR experience and a working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines

 

COMPENSATION:

The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
