JOB OVERVIEW:
Our Transportation and Logistics Practice specializes in insurance programs designed for logistics companies both domestically and internationally. We are currently seeking a Claims Liaison. This is a full time job to liaise and bridge the gap between between the clients, customs brokers and our surety partner. You will act as a central point of contact, coordinating documentation and communication across multiple parties.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
A detailed list of job duties includes (but is not limited to):
- Provide day to day service and support for U.S. Customs Bond products.
- Act as a primary liaison managing the claims communication between the Importer of Record, Customs Brokers, and our surety partners.
- Serve as the primary conduit for bond claims and subrogation matters, including facilitating and auditing documentation, tracking claim status and seeking reimbursement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Customs Broker clients and Surety Partner
- Assist bond underwriters with servicing existing clients and delivering high quality client service.
- Support underwriting activities by collecting required information, performing data entry, and helping evaluate risk factors.
- Organize, monitor and manage bond and claims files to ensure accuracy, follow ups and compliance.
- Coordinate the creation and delivery of materials for clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- 1 plus years of Claims experience required.
- Strong verbal and written skill essential.
- Exceptional Attention to Detail, Proactive Demeanor, Technical Proficiency in software such as Excel, Word and Adobe
- Organizational Skills & Time Management with ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while delivering quality results in a timely manner.
Preferred Credentials and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree
COMPENSATION:
The national average salary for this role is $65 000.00 - $75 000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
