JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a Program Manager to join our team! This role will manage the program and business relationship with our insurance affinity program. This role focuses on program management, coordination, and relationship support, ensuring the program operates efficiently, meets contractual and business objectives, and continues to evolve in alignment with client needs and company strategy. This role will report to EPIC’s Program Director.
LOCATION: Remote / Work from Home
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- This role requires travel (mostly domestic; some international), approximately 6 or more trips per year, to attend national conferences, meetings, and industry events in support of the Program.
- Travel may include multi‑day conferences, client‑facing engagements, and related program‑representation activities.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- REQUIRED: Candidates with at least 5+ years of project or program management experience, partnering closely with internal and external partners to meet business goals and grow the program.
- Preferred: Insurance industry experience.
- Candidates with strong communication skills and the ability to network and interface with a wide variety of audiences.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
A detailed list of job duties includes (but is not limited to):
- Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the insurance program to ensure alignment with contractual requirements, service standards, and business goals
- Maintain program documentation, reporting, workflows, timelines, and governance processes
- Monitor program performance metrics and support reporting efforts for internal leadership and the client
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency, and program optimization
- Serve as a key liaison between the company and the client for program-related matters
- Coordinate meetings, presentations, and communications with client stakeholders
- Support ongoing relationship management by ensuring client requests, initiatives, and concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner
- Assist in preparing materials for client reviews, business updates, and strategic discussions
- Assist with program analysis, proposal development, and implementation planning for new components or changes
- Collaborate with internal partners to assess feasibility, timelines, and resource needs for program enhancements
- Attend and actively participate in national trade conferences, meetings, and industry events as a representative of the Program.
- Serve as the front‑line ambassador for the Program, ensuring a strong and professional presence with member firms, leadership, and industry partners.
- Engage with attendees to build awareness, strengthen relationships, and communicate program value.
- Lead and coordinate marketing and branding initiatives for the Program.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, risk management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in program management, project management, or related role
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large or strategic client relationships
- Experience working with insurance programs, affinity programs, or embedded/exclusive insurance arrangements
- Experience working cross-functionally in a matrixed organization
COMPENSATION:
The national average salary for this role is $100,000.00 - $155,000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
