
Collections Specialist

WHAT IS THE POSITION
The Collections Specialist is responsible for ensuring that customers pay their invoices in a timely manner, while also providing outstanding and timely customer support.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Monitor customer accounts and contact those that have open invoices that become overdue.
- Provide excellent customer support while addressing inquiries or concerns.
- Escalate any collection issues and potential bad debt write-offs to manager.
- Work closely with Order Procurement and Processing (OPP) group and Sales in order to resolve issues.
- Use strong analytical skills to identify and resolve any potential issues in the collections process.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a consistent and high-quality collections process.
- Continuously seek ways to improve the collections processes, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
WHAT IS REQUIRED
- 3 or more years of experience in collections position
- NetSuite experience, a plus
- Maintain working knowledge of industry, market, and competitive landscape
- Fosters a culture of inclusion and cross-functional collaboration

Pay range for this role:
$45,000 - $55,000 USD
At Edmentum, we are committed to pay transparency. The salary range provided reflects market research, the responsibilities of the role, and alignment with our compensation principles. Actual compensation will be determined based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill sets. All compensation decisions are individualized and based on the specific circumstances of each candidate.
