WHAT IS THE POSITION

As a Professional Development Specialist, you will deliver high-quality professional services to increase client outcomes, drive utilization of Edmentum solutions and adoption of best practices. You will communicate with and take the lead from the Customer Success Manager to understand client needs. Most importantly, you will leverage data to drive programs forward, build capacity, increase fidelity, and ensure the achievement of student outcomes.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop deep knowledge of Edmentum’s products, implementation models, best practices, and key classroom trends, a prerequisite for providing world-class service to educators. 
  • Demonstrate deep working knowledge of State accountability plans, assessments, and curriculum requirements.
  • Communicate with the Customer Success Manager to understand client needs and account strategy.
  • Identify and escalate leads and renewal risks.
  • Review data to assess implementation quality and identify areas for optimization.
  • Actively coach clients to improve implementation outcomes.
  • Partner with building level administration to leverage data in evaluating program success as well as identifying areas for targeted intervention and sharing of best practices.
  • Coach teachers on how to implement Edmentum programs with fidelity and how to leverage the data to drive student learning growth.
  • Drive adoption on Edmentum programs through school visits, check-ins, and ongoing communications that are centered around achieving district goals.
  • Complete required administrative tasks ensuring communications, schedules, and customer records are updated in a timely manner and accurately maintained.
  • Monitor and maintain high levels of partner satisfaction.
  • Ability to travel up to 70%

WHAT IS REQUIRED

  • Must live in Fairfax, VA
  • Maintain working knowledge of industry, market, and competitive landscape
  • Fosters a culture of inclusion and cross-functional collaboration
  • Demonstrates integrity, ethics, and a commitment to Edmentum’s mission and values
  • Master’s degree in Education preferred
  • 5+ years of combined experience delivering consulting services in an educational environment or leading education technology implementations
  • Experience in a K-12 school, or district leadership role preferred
  • Strong leadership skills, including a history of leadership responsibility in previous professional settings
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills to help districts overcome barriers and maximize outcomes
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with audiences of all levels
  • Strong listening and questioning skills to gain a strategic understanding of partner needs and challenges
  • Proven competency in identifying value-based opportunities for district partners; advocating partners needs internally and externally
  • Knowledge of current educational trends, research, and state-specific requirements
  • Ability to communicate persuasively and effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Proven effectiveness at leading professional development workshops
  • Self-motivated, proactive individual who thrives on doing a job well, exhibits passion, enthusiasm, and a positive outlook
  • Aptitude to stay current on industry and product trends and initiatives
  • Confidence to identify and communicate implementation missteps with clients
  • Ability to analyze client usage and performance data to make data-driven decisions
  • Passion for driving change in education
  • Experience using web conferencing software

Pay range for this role:

$65,000 - $80,000 USD

At Edmentum, we are committed to pay transparency. The salary range provided reflects market research, the responsibilities of the role, and alignment with our compensation principles. Actual compensation will be determined based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill sets. All compensation decisions are individualized and based on the specific circumstances of each candidate.
