
Senior Technical Business Analyst

As a Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will play a critical role on the Business Systems Team, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to understand their business challenges and translate them into scalable, technical solutions. You will work across departments—including Finance, Legal, Revenue Operations, Customer Support, Customer Success, and HR—to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and deliver actionable insights that drive operational efficiency and system optimization.
You will be a key liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring that solutions align with strategic goals and system capabilities, particularly within platforms like Salesforce. Your work will directly impact how teams leverage technology to improve processes and outcomes.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications for system enhancements and integrations.
- Lead discovery sessions, process mapping, and gap analyses to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with Salesforce administrators and developers to design and implement solutions using best practices.
- Support system configuration, testing, and deployment activities, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Manage and prioritize a backlog of enhancement requests and projects using Agile methodologies.
- Develop and maintain documentation including business process flows, user stories, and training materials.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate stakeholder sign-off.
- Assist with configuration of various business systems to support implementations and integrations
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Analyst in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and related business systems.
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
- Experience with process modeling techniques and tools
- Strong technical acumen with ability to learn new systems
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work core business hours (8-5 in any US time zone) with occasional evening/weekend support for major releases.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
- Passion for improving business outcomes through technology and process optimization.

Preferred Qualifications
- Current Salesforce certifications a major plus
- Experience with CPQ or Revenue Cloud
- Experience with ETL integrations systems like Boomi, Workato, or Mulesoft
- Development or scripting experience (Python, SQL)
- Experience with data visualization systems like PowerBI, Tableau

Pay range for this role:
$100,000 - $125,000 USD

Actual compensation will be determined based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill sets. All compensation decisions are individualized and based on the specific circumstances of each candidate.
