What You’ll Do

As a Lead Data Engineer at Edmentum, you’ll be at the forefront of our data strategy, driving innovation and excellence in data infrastructure and analytics. You’ll lead complex engineering initiatives that empower our teams with reliable, scalable, and insightful data solutions.

In this role you will:

  • Design and build scalable data pipelines using modern technologies
  • Define and evolve data architecture standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions
  • Optimize data systems for performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster technical excellence
  • Ensure documentation and compliance with data governance policies

Who You Are

  • You are highly proficient in Python, SQL, and data engineering frameworks
  • You have experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • You are skilled in ETL processes and pipeline orchestration
  • You have a strong grasp of data warehousing and modeling
  • You are familiar with big data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop
  • You are a collaborative leader who thrives in cross-functional teams
  • You are an excellent communicator and mentor
  • You have a degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • You bring 7+ years of experience in data engineering
  • You are committed to inclusive and respectful team culture
  • You are passionate about driving innovation through data
  • You are willing to take on evolving responsibilities based on business needs.

Pay range for this role:

$147,000 - $160,000 USD

At Edmentum, we are committed to pay transparency. The salary range provided reflects market research, the responsibilities of the role, and alignment with our compensation principles. Actual compensation will be determined based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill sets. All compensation decisions are individualized and based on the specific circumstances of each candidate.
