Position Overview
Sales support position. Must be detail and customer service oriented and have excellent organizational skills. Position requires a high level of correspondence with sales team and with customers & vendors. Must be strong in Microsoft applications, and be able to work well with others in a fast-paced & high volume environment.
Essential Job Functions
- Tracking of ship dates and assisting with communication to customers regarding shipping updates.
- Order Entry for projects involving third party manufacturers
- Communicates effectively with other team members concerning project management process.
- Generates submittal and job documents for customer review and approval.
- Assists with distribution and receipt of submittals.
- Responsible for general administrative functions to support the equipment fulfillment process.
- Gain proficiency in manufacturer programs and making equipment selections.
- Communicate and interact effectively with manufacturers that EEI represents.
- Responsible for generating, interpreting and printing various assigned reports.
Requirements
- Associates Degree in Business or related field and 3 years project management experience; or 5 years project management experience
- Strong PC skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- HVAC, Mechanical Contracting, Engineering or Construction industry experience a plus

Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Mental stamina for problem solving and prioritizing multiple tasks.
Environmental Requirements
Will be required to work in an office environment and possibly, occasionally in the field.
