Senior Project Manager

Remote

Position Summary

Effectual Senior Project Managers (PMs) are members of the Project Management Office (PMO) Practice within Effectual’s Professional Services (PS) organization. They are responsible for ensuring that Effectual’s customers receive exceptional service that leverages the full breadth of Effectual’s experience, expertise, and execution capabilities. Senior PMs oversee all delivery activities for their assigned engagements across the full portfolio of offerings Effectual provides and are accountable for driving successful project outcomes on time and within budget. They develop strong working relationships with customers and collaborate with Account Executives, Solution Architects, and senior members of Effectual’s PS organization to deliver consistent, high-quality results.

A Glimpse into the Daily Routine of a Senior Project Manager

Effectual Senior PMs exhibit mastery in engagement and relationship management. While they can successfully deliver short, tactical projects, they are at their best when presented with highly complex, multi-faceted engagements with significant financial implications for the customer and Effectual. Senior PMs are force multipliers who thrive working across multiple workstreams — in the weeds and at a strategic level — because this is what allows them to fully understand how Effectual is serving their customers. They are detail-oriented, and nothing that could negatively impact how Effectual is perceived or the achievement of the customer’s desired outcome goes unnoticed. The successful Senior PM quickly establishes themselves as the go-to person within Effectual — the person sought out when a project simply must go well. Critically, Effectual Senior PMs are effective leaders who influence outcomes and drive accountability without relying on positional authority.
