
Senior Financial Analyst
Who we are looking for:
We are looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will actively participate in the review and analysis of financial reports and other financial information to assess and monitor the health of our business and help meet and/or exceed Eicoff, Ogilvy and WPP financial objectives. This includes the preparation and development of useful analysis tools to assist executive decision-making concentrating on key metrics such as revenue, profit, margin, staff cost to revenue, exception reporting, phasing, salary run rate trends, headcount trends, discretionary costs, severance etc. This role is hybrid and will require the candidate to come into the Chicago office.
What you’ll do:
- Manage monthly close process, including G/L review of P&L and B/S accounts, preparation of expense accruals and journal entries.
- Preparation of the monthly Actual reporting. Explain monthly variances between Actual vs. Forecast and Prior Year results.
- Identify opportunities to increase operational efficiencies and reduce costs.
- Review monthly revenue accrued & deferred aging reports and work with Client team to ensure balances are billed or recognized on a timely basis.
- Perform general accounting analysis. Review Expense and Balance Sheet reconciliations and explain any monthly/quarterly fluctuations.
- Maintain the Fixed Assets and associated depreciation schedules. Ensure proper recording of new assets and disposals.
- Development and maintenance of the standard excel and BFC (Cartesis) reports and management reporting structure.
- Create financial models bases on analyses to support organizational decision making.
- Manage all Inter-company transactions. Ensuring inter-company receivables and payables are reimbursed timely.
- Review the internal controls and security of all automated accounting applications to ensure conformity with auditing standards.
- Assist in the annual budget and 5-Year Plan preparation.
- Assist with Internal and External Audit requirements. Responsible for compliance and integrity of the financial books.
- Assist with Adhoc projects as needed.
What you’ll need:
- Must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in Finance with General Accounting and FP&A focus.
- Strong financial modeling skills with the ability to utilize Excel formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s, Sumif(s) and Index Match, etc.
- Knowledge of SAP and Cartesis/BFC a plus.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and SOX controls.
- Problem Solving – Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information skillfully, and maintain confidentiality.

- Identifying and introducing improved financial modeling and reporting.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Pay Range
$90,000 - $120,000 USD
