Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a Data Scientist to develop best in class processes and operational performance metrics. Eicoff is looking for highly analytical, self-motivated person to lead our team and have a major impact on how we conduct business now and into the future. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership that drives performance and outcomes of key marketing programs and campaigns. This role provides support to the digital and traditional media teams by developing new business processes, implementation, education, and adoption of systems. This role also oversees communication between departments and operating companies to ensure successful delivery. This individual will design and deliver market performance modeling that support data-driven decision-making efforts. This position works closely with our Media Buying Department(s), Account Team(s) and Executive leadership to identify KPIs, trends and opportunities for improvement in digital and traditional marketing.  This role is hybrid and will require candidate to come into the Chicago office.

Who you are:

  • Being the analytics lead for one or more clients - providing insightful and actionable analytics, recommend user experience optimizations and identify tools and methodologies needed to evaluate success
  • Optimization of data processing and automation to effectively deliver analytics results, identify opportunities to drive improvements and communicate the value design optimizations could drive for clients’ customers and business
  • Create strong and trusting working relationships with key client stakeholders, strategic, creative and account teams.
  • Presenting to external clients and joining working meetings to provide analytical capability and strategic analytical input
  • Provide innovative, actionable, and insightful analysis. An educator of data driven principles within analytics for internal teams and external clients
  • Identify and develop new opportunities that deliver additional data & technology agency revenue through product development / creating packaged services
  • Proactively engage in continual learning and up-skilling of those you manage while identifying new opportunities to use data and analytics to advance our offerings and industry thought leadership
  • Perform cross-project data mining to help build company's internal database of benchmarks and research which supports future projects, sales and thought leadership
  • Manage project timelines, scoping and resourcing (with support from your manager) for your team Lead organization in the adoption of cross-channel marketing strategy development practices by championing cross-channel planning, developing, and facilitating cross-channel measurement capability, and integration of latest cross-channel planning and executional tool sets
  • Management of all personnel, vendors, and toolsets related to active projects

What you’ll need:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated professional success in analytics and strategy consulting may be considered equivalent to the educational requirement.
  • R, Python, SQL, Office Suite programming experience required 
  • Experience with Alteryx, Tableau or other Business Insight tools preferred
  • Digital media performance analysis expert.
  • Proven initiative in creating new business systems that deliver value without compromising existing operations by facilitating agile methodologies to recommend program optimization to leadership.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation & interpersonal skills with both internal and external audiences; proven ability to influence and provide thought leadership when working with executive leadership as well as internal and cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in evaluating attribution modeling performance to develop marketing ROI models. 
  • Experience in business systems design is strongly preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment

 

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. $110,000 - $140,000 USD
