The Role
Our Marketplace team is scaling up as we seek out innovative thinkers and engineers to join us on our mission to hyperscale Ethereum. As a member of this team, you will play a critical role in developing and delivering tools for capital allocators in the Eigen Layer ecosystem, design discovery methods, and build management consoles for Operators/AVS partners. This is an opportunity to be a technical thought leader on this team and drive new features/decisions, work on applications that drive economic activity on EigenLayer and grow with a team of talented collaborators. What You Will Do
- Take ownership and drive the full development life cycle of mission critical systems, services and tooling for our Marketplace team
- Implement critical EigenLayer protocol features and upgrades
- Build systems to scale up and support 100s of AVSs, 10,000s of Operators and 100s of tokens
- Create services and tools that allow AVS and Operators to self-serve interactions with the protocol
What You Will Bring
- 5+ years of professional software development experience w/ proven track record of delivering highly scalable products/features on distributed systems
- 2+ years of full lifecycle development and maintenance of enterprise scale applications
- Experience with Typescript, SQL and Subgraphs, REST and Microservices
- React or similar frontend frameworks/libraries
- General understanding of blockchain tech and concepts; signature schemes, hash functions, erasure codes, multi-threaded and parallel computing, etc.
Bonus
- BS in Computer Science or related technical field (e.g., physics or mathematics)
- Knowledge or experience of Solidity, Go, Rust or similar languages
- Understanding and use of web3 libraries like Wagmi or WalletConnect
- Prior experience with Proof of Stake protocols, EVM, DeFi and/or the EigenLayer platform
- Hands on experience and delivery of web3/daap applications
- Experience turning Figma designs into best-of-class frontend applications
- Familiarity with DevOps, AWS, k8s, CI/CD pipelines, DataDog, etc.
The target base salary for this role will range between $190,000 to $225,000. This is determined by a few factors including your skillset, prior relevant experience, quality of interviews and market factors at the point in time of offer.
