About Eigen Labs

EigenLabs is revolutionizing crypto-economic security with EigenLayer, our groundbreaking solution that allows blockchain projects to leverage Ethereum's established security. We're breaking the scaling trilemma, enabling unprecedented scalability while maintaining security and decentralization. By allowing services to build upon Ethereum's trust network, we're unleashing a new era of innovation in the blockchain space.

Why We Need You

You are the voice that will amplify our vision to the world. As our first marketing hire, you'll be the architect of our product marketing strategy, the storyteller who translates our complex technology into compelling narratives that resonate with developers, users, and the broader crypto community. You'll be the bridge between our brilliant engineers and the market, ensuring that EigenLayer's potential is fully understood and embraced. Your role is crucial in driving adoption, attracting partners, and ultimately, in realizing our mission to create more open innovation on blockchains.

What You’ll Do

You'll be building, operating, and scaling our product marketing machine from the ground up. This role is deeply cross-functional, requiring you to work closely with every product team and the executive leadership.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing go-to-market strategies that drive exponential growth in our ecosystem metrics (for example: addresses, operators, rewards, TVL)
  • Creating compelling narratives that simplify and differentiate our complex technologies for various audiences
  • Leading the charge on major product launches, working closely with engineering, product management, and sales teams to translate features into benefits
  • Continuously testing, proving, and optimizing the inputs—collateral, events, website, co-marketing initiatives—that fuel our product growth flywheel
  • Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to inform our product positioning and marketing strategies
  • Owning the company-wide release calendar, making sure the marketing process is transparent and well-understood across the organization

What You’ll Bring

  • 7+ years of product marketing experience, with at least 3 years focusing on developer-facing products
  • Proven track record of leading and scaling product marketing functions in fast-paced, rapidly growing startups, preferably within Series A to C funding stages
  • Experience in collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and sales teams to align marketing strategies with business objectives and drive project completion
  • Foundational understanding of blockchain technology, the crypto ecosystem, especially Ethereum and other PoS networks, and emerging trends in decentralized finance and web3
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute data-driven marketing strategies, leveraging analytics to inform decision-making, optimize campaigns, and measure success against key metrics
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus

Nice to Have

  • Experience in leading product marketing initiatives within the Web3 or blockchain space, with a deep personal passion for the crypto ecosystem, including active use of exchanges, dApps, and DeFi platforms
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a history of building and managing high-performing marketing teams in a startup environment
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling marketing messages that resonate with diverse audiences
  • Experience in influencing product strategy and go-to-market plans at a senior leadership level, driving growth and market adoption

Classification of protected categories is as follows:

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
