Product Designer

Eigen Labs is a dynamic and innovative team building the EigenLayer protocol. Through its restaking platform, EigenLayer enables exponentially more blockchain services to be built by relying on Ethereum for security, reducing the large upfront capital costs blockchain services typically require. We believe that similar to how the cloud enabled thousands of builders to more easily build SaaS applications, EigenLayer will do the same for crypto services.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a thoughtful Senior/Staff Product Designer to own our core restaking marketplace application end to end (app.eigenlayer.xyz). You will influence everything from the product features we ship to our design systems and brand identity. The team is small and nimble, and our culture is focused on shipping and solving user problems.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Own product design end to end.
  • Shape the product requirements and provide input into the product roadmap
  • Work with engineering to establish and improve our design systems
  • Be the standard bearer for product quality and user experience

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Strong interaction and visual design skills
  • Enjoy solving novel UX problems
  • Not intimidated by technical products
  • A mind for product strategy: We believe in a culture of empowered designers and engineers directly shaping the definition of the product they are building. This manifests in balancing user experience goals with business goals and engineering scope.
  • You are proud and passionate about technology and crypto

WHAT WE OFFER

  • A seat at the table: We believe in the three legged stool of Design, Product, and Engineering. Design is a critical and valued voice at Eigen and shapes all of our product and strategic decisions from our web apps, to our documentation, to our brand and marketing.
  • A strong team: We’re a small and nimble team of incredibly smart yet kind individuals. We’re mission driven and have pride in the work we do.
  • A path to grow: Growth our goal is to retain all early hires as senior leaders as the company scales. We believe folks with the best expertise and deep context should lead organizations, even if they don’t traditionally self-identify as people managers.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. $175,000 - $250,000 is the annual base salary. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
