Associate Director, Investor Relations
Eikon Therapeutics is a new biopharmaceutical company employing revolutionary technology at the intersection of chemistry, engineering, computation, and biology to discover novel treatments for life-threatening diseases. Eikon’s discovery platform is built on groundbreaking innovations from its founders (Nobel Prize, 2014), culminating in the creation of microscopes which enable real time, molecular-resolution measurements of protein movement in living cells, thereby unlocking otherwise intractable classes of proteins as drug targets.
Position
We are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Investor Relations to help shape and execute our investor relations strategy during a critical phase of growth as a public, clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting clear, consistent, and compliant communication with the investment community, while partnering closely with executive leadership, Finance, Scientific Affairs and Legal. You will play a hands-on role in preparing external messaging, supporting earnings and investor events, and managing investor-facing materials that accurately reflect company performance, pipeline progress, and long-term strategy. This position requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, highly visible environment.
About You
You are a seasoned investor relations professional with experience supporting public-company communications, ideally within the biotechnology or life sciences sector. You are comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You bring strong financial acumen, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to distill complex scientific and financial information into clear, compelling narratives for diverse external audiences. You thrive in cross-functional environments, lead through influence, and exercise sound judgment when navigating sensitive, time-critical information.
What You’ll Do

- Prepare and maintain high-quality investor-facing materials, including earnings presentations, investor decks, fact sheets, talking points, and Q&A documents that accurately reflect company performance, pipeline progress, and long-term strategy.
- Support quarterly earnings cycles end-to-end, including message development, script drafting, coordination of internal reviews, and post-earnings follow-up.
- Assist in planning and executing investor meetings, conferences, and non-deal roadshows, including preparation of executives and development of meeting materials.
- Serve as a key cross-functional partner to Finance, Legal, and Corporate Communications to ensure alignment across external messaging and adherence to disclosure and governance requirements.
- Monitor investor sentiment, analyst feedback, and peer activity; synthesize insights and provide thoughtful input to internal stakeholders.
- Help ensure all investor communications comply with SEC regulations, Reg FD, and internal disclosure controls.
Qualifications
- Post-graduate degree with 8+ years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience in investor relations, corporate finance, equity research, investment banking, or a related field.
- Prior experience supporting a public company in the biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences sectors. Ideally a large cap company.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, capital markets, and investor expectations.
- Demonstrated ability to craft clear, concise, and compliant investor communications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence interacting with senior executives and external stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, strong judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth environment and operate effectively as an individual contributor.
