Your Role
As the Manager of Supply Planning at LIPTON Teas and Infusions, you will oversee the strategic development and execution of supply planning processes to ensure optimal inventory levels, production efficiency, and seamless supply chain operations. Reporting to senior leadership, you will guide a team responsible for aligning supply plans with business goals, driving process improvements, and coordinating with key stakeholders to support growth and customer satisfaction. You will leverage your expertise in SAP, Kinaxis, and supply chain analytics to enhance planning accuracy and reduce operational risk.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement high-level supply planning strategies that align with demand forecasts, inventory objectives, and overall business goals.
- Lead a team of supply planners in utilizing SAP and Kinaxis to monitor, adjust, and optimize inventory levels, production schedules, and forecasting parameters.
- Collaborate with senior leaders in procurement, manufacturing, and logistics to ensure that supply planning initiatives are integrated into operational strategies and meet customer requirements.
- Proactively identify potential supply chain disruptions and work with cross-functional teams to develop strategies that mitigate risks and ensure consistent product availability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply planning function, streamlining processes to improve cost-efficiency, agility, and responsiveness across the supply chain.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of comprehensive supply chain reports, including metrics on inventory turnover, service levels, and performance indicators, to inform executive decision-making.
- Establish and nurture strategic supplier relationships, negotiating terms and timelines to optimize delivery performance and supply chain reliability.
Skills and Experience:
- 12+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- Expert-level proficiency in SAP, Kinaxis, and other supply chain planning tools, with demonstrated success in implementing and managing advanced planning solutions.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a proven ability to analyze data, develop insights, and make impactful decisions.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with experience in leading and motivating cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple complex projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
