The Warehouse Shift Manager at eko’s Capture Factory will report directly to the Head of Warehouse Operations. As the Warehouse Shift Manager, you will lead all warehouse operations during your assigned shift, with direct responsibility for both inbound (receiving) and outbound workflows. You’ll drive team performance, enforce process adherence, and ensure a safe, accurate, and efficient operation across the floor.
What you will do:
- Act as the primary warehouse leader on-site during your shift, reporting to the Head of Warehouse Operations
- Oversee day-to-day floor operations for both receiving and outbound teams, ensuring smooth handoffs and operational alignment
- Ensure accurate, timely execution of all warehouse processes with a strong focus on throughput, inventory accuracy, and safety
- Serve as the point of contact for client-facing updates and issue resolution related to warehouse performance
- Own inventory control activities, including cycle counts, reconciliation, and variance reporting
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as labor utilization, order accuracy, inventory turnover, and on-time shipments
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and company policies, including conducting training and safety audits
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by providing coaching and development opportunities to team members
- Collaborate closely with robot, studio, and facility operations teams to resolve challenges and optimize workflows
- Escalate critical issues to senior leadership while maintaining ownership of shift-level performance and outcomes
- Operate forklifts and perform hands-on tasks when needed to support team operations
Our ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience managing warehouse floor operations in a fast-paced environment such as a warehouse, 3PL, or fulfillment center
- Proven ability to lead shift teams effectively, balancing daily execution with long-term process improvement
- On-site presence at the eko Capture Factory in Bentonville, Arkansas
- Deep understanding of inventory control, labor planning, and real-time operational decision-making
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other software tools used to optimize inventory flow and warehouse efficiency
- A client-centric approach, with experience serving as a day-to-day operational point of contact
- A leadership style grounded in accountability and collaboration, with a hands-on approach and team-first mindset
- Strong attention to detail and comfort with shipping platforms, documentation, and compliance standards
- Forklift certification (or a willingness to become certified quickly)
- Excellent communication skills across cross-functional teams, clients, and warehouse leadership
- A commitment to full ownership of shift-level performance, including people, process, and throughput
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy objects frequently (typically up to 50 lbs).
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach regularly.
- Visual acuity to read labels, packing slips, and computer screens, and to inspect goods for defects.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment which may include exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and noise.
Work Environment:
- This position operates primarily within a warehouse setting.
- The noise level can range from moderate to loud.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts and vehicles (forklifts, trucks).
