Outbound Associate

Bentonville

eko is an innovative e-commerce startup dedicated to empowering brands to create, display, and optimize their video assets across digital platforms.

Thanks to our groundbreaking partnership with major retailers, and our ability to demonstrably increase e-commerce sales, we recently broke ground on a new facility focused on processing, capturing, and delivering data & media for millions of unique products annually.

Our first-of-its-kind facility will open in Northwest Arkansas this summer and scale to hundreds of employees by the end of 2025.

As we embark on our next phase of expansion, we are seeking visionary leaders who thrive in dynamic, “figure-it-out-as-we-go” environments and are eager to grow with us.

The Outbound Associate is a vital part of eko’s warehouse team, responsible for executing outbound operations and supporting the post-studio putaway of merchandise into designated storage locations. Reporting to the Outbound Lead, this hands-on role requires accuracy, speed, and a commitment to warehouse excellence.

What you will do:

  • Pick and pack products accurately from assigned warehouse locations using pick lists and RF scanners
  • Verify picked items for accuracy — including product type, quantity, and condition — against order specifications
  • Pack orders securely using appropriate materials (e.g., boxes, mailers, void fill, tape) to prevent damage in transit
  • Generate and apply correct shipping labels, packing slips, and required documentation
  • Sort and stage completed orders in designated outbound areas for carrier pickup
  • Load outbound trailers or containers, ensuring proper weight distribution and secure loading practices
  • Operate warehouse systems, including WMS, scanners, and shipping software, to process and confirm shipments
  • Support post-studio putaway by returning processed items to their designated locations in racking or shelving systems
  • Operate manual and powered warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, carts, and forklifts (if certified)
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in all outbound and staging areas
  • Meet or exceed productivity and accuracy targets (e.g., pick rate, pack rate, putaway rate)
  • Communicate effectively with leads and team members regarding order progress or inventory discrepancies
  • Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and OSHA standards
  • Assist with additional warehouse tasks as needed, including restocking, cycle counts, and general housekeeping

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in outbound shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations (preferred)
  • Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction) and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with handheld scanners, WMS, or ERP systems is a plus
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain it
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and standard operating protocols
Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • A reliable, proactive attitude and a willingness to step in wherever needed

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy objects frequently (typically up to 50 lbs).
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach regularly.
  • Visual acuity to read labels, packing slips, and computer screens, and to inspect goods for defects.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment which may include exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and noise.
