Food Manager

Thanks to our groundbreaking partnership with major retailers, and our ability to demonstrably increase e-commerce sales, we recently broke ground on a new facility focused on processing, capturing, and delivering data & media for millions of unique products annually.
Our first-of-its-kind facility opened in Northwest Arkansas this summer and will scale to hundreds of employees by the end of 2025.
The Food Manager oversees all food-related production needs, including hero food styling, kitchen operations, and prop food preparation. This role sets creative and operational standards for food across shoots.
What you will do:
- Staff Management: Assist in the hiring, scheduling, and supervising of the food stylists, kitchen leads, and kitchen associates.
- Food Preparation: Oversee food styling, prep, and kitchen operations across all productions.
- Set creative standards for hero food styling and collaborate with Special Teams.
- Work closely with creative, production and warehousing heads as well as creative and production teams.
- Track and manage food and supply inventory, budget, sourcing, and vendor relationships.
- Supervise and mentor Food Stylists, Kitchen Leads, and Kitchen Associates.
- Ensure safe, efficient kitchen operations and compliance with food safety standards.
- Work cross-functionally with Props, Creative, and Talent teams.
- Collaborate with clients to ensure seamless, timely and on-budget styling.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years in food styling, culinary arts, or print, film and/or video production food roles.
- Experience managing a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong creative eye with technical culinary skills and a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every element is perfectly placed and looks its best.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, and implementing proper food handling procedures. Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods in a kitchen environment.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs of equipment or ingredients.
- Fine motor skills for food prep and styling work.
Work Environment:
- This position operates primarily within a studio kitchen environment.
- The noise level can range from moderate to loud.
- Exposure to hot equipment, food odors, and moving mechanical parts.
