
Medical Director - Southern Region

The Regional Medical Director reports directly to the National Medical Director.
What You'll Do:
80% Clinical Impact
- Be the steady, trusted physician for individuals navigating substance use and mental health challenges—providing MAT and psychiatric care, both in person and virtually.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to shape holistic, integrated care plans.
- Share on-call duties as part of a mission-driven, supportive clinical community.

- Be the clinical rock for APPs, nurses, and therapists—offering supervision, mentoring, and guidance in partnership with our national medical leaders.
- Champion quality improvement, lead onboarding, and support clinician well-being in a fast-moving, startup-inspired environment.
Who You Are:
- A board-certified (or board-eligible) psychiatrist (M.D. or D.O.)
- Passionate about addiction medicine—bonus if you’re also BC/BE in Addiction Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine.
- Licensed (or license-ready) in at least one of the following states: LA, TX, NC, FL, NM, TN, OK, MO
- Experienced with MAT and integrated care models (minimum 2 years in addiction care and 1 year in medical leadership).
- Energized by leading in evolving, dynamic systems—and deeply committed to equity and person-centered care.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and inspiring others through it.

What We Offer:
The target annual compensation range for this position is $250,000-265,000. The actual compensation offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
