We are looking for a Digital Marketing Intern to support our social media initiatives, analytics efforts, and regional marketing activities. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, working closely with our global marketing and regional teams to drive brand awareness, enhance audience engagement, and support event execution. Our program has multiple elements (no pun intended) to ensure that you have a well-rounded internship experience helping the Digital Marketing team by taking ownership of a portion of a large-scale project, utilize your expertise to address real-world issues, and gain valuable industrial experience while contributing to the development of an exceptional sequencing product. This internship will also provide opportunities to develop soft-skills as well as meet with Leaders across the organization to learn about their careers and gain insights on how to navigate your early career decisions.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling engaging content for Element Biosciences social media channels (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, etc.)
  • Partner with our PR agency to coordinate, review and execute corporate social media content
  • Monitor and respond to comments and messages in alignment with our brand voice
  • Analyze social media performance metrics and prepare weekly and monthly reports
  • Support the digital marketing team in tracking and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) for campaigns
  • Generate actionable insights from web, social, and event analytics to optimize strategies
  • Use platforms like Google Analytics, HubSpot, and social media dashboards to compile reports
  • Collaborate with the regional marketing team to set up local event registration forms and landing pages
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure event materials align with Element's branding and messaging
  • Track registration data and prepare summaries for the marketing team

Education and Experience: 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (junior, senior, or recent graduate preferred)
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic knowledge of analytics tools such as Google Analytics or similar platforms (preferred)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Base Compensation Pay Range: 

  • $25 - 40/hr
