As a Senior Capital Markets Manager, you will play a highly visible role supporting executive leadership, including daily collaboration with the CEO. This role is responsible for delivering accurate P&L reporting, MSR valuation analysis, margin optimization insights, and bid tape preparation to support loan sales and servicing strategy. Your analytical work will directly influence pricing, profitability, hedge performance, and overall financial strategy. This is a high-impact opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in capital markets environments and wants to operate as a strategic partner across Secondary Marketing, Finance, and executive leadership.

šŸ› ļø Key Responsibilities

Daily P&L Reporting & Analysis

  • Produce and own daily profit and loss reporting across all origination channels, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and executive-ready presentation
  • Investigate and explain P&L variances, including rate movements, volume changes, pricing execution, and hedge performance
  • Develop and enhance reporting infrastructure to streamline processes and improve analytical visibility
  • Provide clear reporting and variance explanations to executive leadership

MSR Analysis, Valuation & Strategy

  • Run MSR valuation models, including cash flow projections, rate sensitivity analysis, and prepayment speed scenarios
  • Monitor fair value of retained MSR portfolio in alignment with GAAP and investor standards
  • Develop MSR hedge recommendations based on valuation and market conditions
  • Support MSR portfolio strategy and financial performance monitoring
  • MSR & Whole Loan Bid Tape Preparation
  • Prepare MSR bid tapes for bulk sales, ensuring accuracy of loan-level characteristics including FICO, LTV, geography, and product type
  • Create whole loan bid tapes for investor execution across agency and non-agency channels
  • Coordinate with Servicing, Operations, and Secondary Marketing teams to ensure data integrity and completeness
  • Support execution of loan sales and MSR transactions through settlement
  • Margin Reporting & Profitability Analytics
  • Own margin reporting across origination channels and identify opportunities for optimization
  • Analyze profitability trends, channel performance, and pricing effectiveness
  • Develop financial models to evaluate pricing, product mix, and operational strategy
  • Collaborate with Finance on forecasting, reporting, and profitability modeling
  • Executive Reporting & Strategic Partnership
  • Prepare executive-level reporting packages for the CEO and senior leadership
  • Deliver strategic insights and financial recommendations based on analytical findings
  • Partner closely with Secondary Marketing and Finance teams to support pricing, execution, and forecasting
  • Develop ad hoc financial analysis to support business strategy and market responsiveness
  • Collaborate daily with executive leadership, including direct visibility to the CEO

šŸŽÆ What You Bring

  • 5–10 years of experience in mortgage finance, capital markets, Secondary Marketing, or financial analytics
  • Strong understanding of MSR valuation, mortgage pricing, and capital markets execution
  • Experience preparing bid tapes, financial models, and profitability analysis preferred
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills required
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities
  • High attention to detail and financial accuracy
  • Ability to communicate complex financial insights clearly to executive audiences
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to partner cross-functionally across Finance, Secondary Marketing, and executive leadership
  • CFA designation or progress toward CFA is a strong plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field preferred

  • In this role, your day may include:
  • Producing daily P&L reporting and investigating performance drivers
  • Running MSR valuation models and analyzing rate sensitivity scenarios
  • Preparing MSR and whole loan bid tapes for investor execution
  • Partnering with Secondary Marketing on pricing strategy and hedge performance
  • Collaborating with Finance on forecasting and profitability modeling
  • Presenting financial insights and performance reporting to executive leadership
  • Supporting strategic initiatives and ad hoc executive analysis

  • Base Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 (commensurate with experience)
