What you will do:

At Eleo, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring that our cutting-edge products meet global battery regulations. Dive into the dynamic world of off-highway electrification, where every day presents an exciting challenge as regulations continue to evolve. As our new Product Compliance Specialist, you'll not only assess the state-of-the-art but actively engage with industry associations like RECHARGE to implement new legislation.

 

Your key responsibilties:

• Maintaining a comprehensive regulatory overview tailored to different global regions and applications.
• Active participation in industry associations to stay ahead of regulatory changes.
• Evaluating potential new applications and customer requests with a keen eye on compliance.
• Educating ELEO personnel on applicable standards and how to be compliant with the regulations.
• Coordinating homologation testing with our dedicated testing team and certification bodies.
• Ensuring all documentation and certificates are organized and up-to-date.
• Keeping abreast of emerging product regulations and industry trends.

 

Requirements & qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of the global product compliance landscape.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in product compliance, homologation, or testing, preferably within the battery/electrification sector.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence others.
• Proficient in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Meticulous attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to create structure and convey complex information effectively to various stakeholders.
• Willingness to occasionally travel and participate in industry conventions and association events.
