Summary/Objective:
The Total Rewards Intern will be given a unique opportunity to work on various projects in the compensation and benefits functions. This role will gain practical skills and experience for a future career in benefits, compensation or talent management. This dual role will allow the practice of skills and professional norms in the workplace while also gaining knowledge related to benefits analysis and communication, total worker health, and well-being as well as, compensation lifecycle and salary survey submission.
Essential Functions:
- Review and assess Total Worker Health modules. Gap analysis of Elevations benefits to model to review with Benefits Program Manager.
- Develop and lead summer challenges and engagement activities to include financial wellness programs
- Research Benefits Survey and data analysis
- Participate in Life Centric Benefits communication project
- Review self-funded benefits claims information
- 2026 implementation, market trends & strategy support for leave and disability benefits
- Prepare and submit salary surveys
- Partners with the Total Rewards Team to research and compile budget data
- Review and suggest enhancements to ensure alignment in the organizations career framework documentation, job descriptions and titling requirements.
- Help manage and maintain data in PayFactors system

Sr Compensation Analyst & Benefits Program Manager
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- Working towards bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, human resources, or similar field.
- Strong interest in human resources and total rewards management.
- Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Creative thinker
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills, Education and Experience:
- Experience and knowledge of the principles and practices utilized in benefits and compensation databases and reporting.
- Ability to work as a team member and provide quality customer service skills.
- Advanced Excel skills
Work Environment:
Elevations uses multi-factor authentication to keep our data safe. As such, a personal smartphone is a requirement for employment with us. This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment.
Physical Requirements:
Sitting frequently, walking occasionally, use of hands frequently, hearing constantly, talking frequently, exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Intern
The summer intern program will last 10 weeks: from June 2 – Aug. 8
Full-time 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Compensation:
The person hired into this position will likely earn between $19.00 and $21.00/ hour. The candidate's starting salary will be adjusted based upon his, her, or their experience.
Anticipated Application Window:
