Summary/Objective
The Design Manager is an instrumental partner on the design and brand marketing team. This position oversees vendor partnerships and is primarly responsible for creating digital, advertising, print, signage, and physical assets for Elevations Credit Unions in order to drive new member acquisition, member retention, brand awareness and product demand. This role functions as a key player on an award-winning marketing team and collaborates heavily with stakeholders across the organization to achieve the stated outcome of each project.
Essential Functions.
- Oversee the planning, design, and production of a wide range of visual assets in alignment with Elevations’ design requirements and brand standards, ensuring brand integrity while evolving creative materials to remain relevant and engaging.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure all deliverables align with project objectives, meet established quality standards, and are completed on schedule.
- Deploy creative assets for both internal and external channels, ensuring appropriate formatting and distribution.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and oversee the production of branded materials to maintain quality and consistency.
- Research and evaluate emerging design software and AI-driven tools to streamline workflows and enhance creative capabilities.
- Ensure all creative materials incorporate required disclosures, meet accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG for digital assets), and comply with applicable industry regulations.

Required Skills, Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Art Direction, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of six years of professional experience in a related design role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
- Comprehensive understanding of printing processes for physical assets and technical file requirements for digital assets.
- Working knowledge of AI-based design tools and prompting techniques.
- Functional understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and to adapt effectively within a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for learning new things, including how AI will shape the future of marketing and design.
Preferred Skills, Education and Experience
- Experience using Canva
- Experiencing using AI image generation platforms including Midjourney and Google AI studio.
- Experience developing video content for digital channels such as Facebook Live, Instagram, etc.
- Understanding of UI and UX principles.
Work Environment
Elevations uses multi-factor authentication to keep our data safe. As such, a personal smartphone is a requirement for employment with us. This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment.

Compensation information:
The person hired into this position will likely earn between $85,380.35 and $106,725.44 plus annual bonus
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Anticipated Application Window:
