Location
- Hybrid: Employees who are able to perform the essential functions of their jobs away from an Elevations location may do so with the expectation that they are onsite at least fifty percent of the time over a two-week pay period.
Summary/Objective
The Mortgage Loan Assistant III (LOA III) independently manages the mortgage loan process from application through funding, serving as the primary project manager with minimal supervision while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance. This role leads pipeline meetings, proactively identifies and resolves issues before key deadlines, and communicates loan progress to members and real estate partners with a high level of expertise. The LOA III operates with greater autonomy and advanced authority—preparing appraisal reconsiderations, rapid rescoring, loan committee reviews, and developing targeted marketing strategies to expand the loan officer’s referral network and book of business.
Essential Functions.
- Take ownership of the mortgage loan process from application to funding, acting as project manager with minimal supervision.
- Interacts and communicates with members, loan officers, fellow LOA’s, processors, underwriters, closers, title agents and real estate professionals in a collaborative and professional manner throughout the entire loan process
- Schedule and attend pipeline meetings for loans in process
- Effectively manage purchase contract and lock expiration dates, anticipating areas of concerns and proactively addressing issues prior to deadlines
- Prepares and submit appraisal reconsiderations, rapid rescore requests and loan committee reviews independently
- Create, prepare and implement marketing ideas and support to expand loan officer referral partners and book of business

Required Skills, Education and Experience
- Equivalent to a high school education
- Minimum three years mortgage experience – 1 year mortgage sales experience required
- Knowledge of Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac guidelines, mortgage regulations and TRID compliance
- Demonstrated experience with mortgage loan programs, structure, options and pricing
- Ability and willingness to provide encouragement and support to fellow LOA’s by sharing mortgage knowledge and best practices.
- Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Candidate must have an ability to foster positive work relationships with people both inside and outside the organization.
Work Environment
Elevations uses multi-factor authentication to keep our data safe. As such, a personal smartphone is a requirement for employment with us. This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment.

Compensation:
The person hired into this position will likely earn between $22.51 and $28.14+ monthly incentive. The candidate's starting salary will be adjusted based upon his, her, or their experience.
Anticipated Application Window:
