Summary/Objective
The Senior Compensation Analyst primary focus will be on administering, analyzing, and maintaining the company’s compensation programs to ensure internal equity and external market competitiveness. The Senior Compensation Analyst is subject matter expert and internal consultant to HR Business Partners and managers on a variety of compensation topics, from job architecture to pay equity. This role will shape policies that reward employee contributions and support our Employee Value Proposition.
Essential Functions.
- Market Analysis & Benchmarking: Independently manage and participate in salary surveys, analyzing market data to determine competitiveness. Conduct in-depth market pricing for new and existing jobs, recommending appropriate salary ranges, job grades, and classifications (e.g., FLSA status).
- Consulting and Advisory: Consult with HR partners and business leaders by providing analysis, guidance, and management of compensation programs; including base compensation and incentive plans. Provide guidance on pay decisions, promotions, new hire offers, and policy interpretation for moderately complex issues
- Job Architecture Management: Administer and maintain the company’s job architecture and salary structures. Collaborate with HR Business Partners to write, revise, and maintain accurate job descriptions, ensuring consistency in grading and titling.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compensation programs and practices are compliant with local laws. Prepare various compensation reports and conduct internal audits to ensure data integrity and consistent application of policies.
- Analysis: Leads annual salary planning, budgeting and merit processes.
- Partners with Finance and analytics teams to create models and projections for variable compensation programs, showing annual and fiscal impact for each alternative
- Evaluates internal pay equity and provides leadership with observations and any recommended actions.
- Provide day-to-day leadership to continually evidence an integrated approach to total rewards, compensation and recognition that is competitive, cost effective, and aligned to business, team, and individual performance

Required Skills, Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (in Business, Human Resources or related field) preferred or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of progressive compensation, HR Operations or HR Business Consulting experience
- Extensive knowledge of FLSA and human resource laws, regulations and best practices.
- Demonstrates knowledge and competency using Excel, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, UKGPro and other common business software suites, including Pay Factors or similar compensation software/tools.
- Ability to collect, and record data; Assess the accuracy, validity and integrity of the data; Interpret and evaluate results, and create reports and/or presentations of the data
- Ability to speak and present information clearly, concisely and effectively to large and small groups.
- Ability to draw sound conclusions and making responsible recommendations.
Preferred Skills, Education and Experience
- CPP or other HR certification designation preferred.
Work Environment

Compensation:
The person hired into this position will likely earn between $95,796.75 and $119,745.94 annual salary, plus annual bonus.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Anticipated Application Window:
