Systems Engineer Mid Level

In order to join the ELEVI Team you will need

  • You must be willing to work in the Hanover, MD, area.     
  • YOU MUST HOLD A CURRENT  POLY CLEARANCE 
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field  or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus Six (6) years of systems engineering experience. 
  • Will need to be able  to elicit and refine requirements, schedule work breakdown to deliverables, document artifacts, and provide roadmaps and schedules for implementing end-to-end data flows, including transformation into a standard data model. 
  • Will need to form good customer relationships and reach out to external customers for requirements and understanding of the data and the data needs of the users.
  • Will need to have a good understanding of the customer data flow architecture.
  • Will need to work as a key contributor in an agile development environment.
  • In addition, candidate shall have:
    • Working knowledge of data collection and processing through analysis or data flow engineering.
    • General understanding of how data is processed and the necessary steps to stand up a new data flow.
  • Desired Skills:
    • Have experience with Cyber Security Directorate and related data flows

  Some of your day-to-day activities:

  • Applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. Interact with the government customer regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
  • Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
  • Perform systems engineering activities and develop and deliver work products of either the ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas. 

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is: 148,600 - 243,400
