Project Initiation
• Build Basic Systems Components a) Create a user input file (suggested input is YAML). This user input file will be consumed and produce the Ansible inventory file
b) Write an Ansible playbook using Dell’s OME Ansible modules which fully updates a set of target servers via OME
c) Write an Ansible playbook using Dell’s OME Ansible modules which takes as input a list of servers and their profiles and applies appropriate BIOS templates via OME
d) Write Ansible playbook which deploys host for OME repositories (Apache, SMB, etc)
e) Write Ansible playbook which deploys RKE2
f) Write Ansible playbook which deploys OME VM to RKE2 or other platform
g) Write an Ansible playbook using Dell’s OME Ansible Modules which deploys OME host automation workflow
h) Write Ansible playbook to deploy DNS, NTP, and DHCP for the system
i) Create user required system profiles and integrate them with the OME automation workflow
j) Write code to dynamic generate the Ansible inventory file based on user requirements
• Build Deployment VM a) Write an Ansible playbook which builds the deployment VM OVA or other deployment mechanism and spins it up on KVM/other host
b) Write an Ansible playbook which installs DNS, NTP, and DHCP on the deployment VM
c) Write an Ansible playbook which deploys system deployment framework to the deployment VM
d) Write a test harness which confirms the system is working as expected after a build
e) Integrate STIGs/FIPS into the build
• Perform Integration Testing a) Perform integration testing against live servers with correct configurations
b) Perform integration testing with customer using a representative tester
c) Update documentation based on user feedback
d) Prepare for final delivery
Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
225,000- 249,000
