UAT Analyst (Operations Support)
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented UAT Analyst to join our Operations Team. In this role, you will support day-to-day operations by working with production data, running quality control (QC) checks, and assisting with user acceptance testing (UAT) for new features, system updates, and production fixes. You’ll help ensure that our systems work as intended by testing business processes and providing feedback to the Operations and IT teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 3+ years of experience in testing or operational support who is eager to grow their skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define Success/Acceptance Criteria for new functionality, enhancements, and bug fixes, based on business processes and user requirements.
- Write and execute UAT test cases, including edge and exploratory cases, that reflect real-world business processes.
- Support daily operations by monitoring production data & handling routine reporting tasks.
- Perform QC checks on data and processes to ensure accuracy.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track issues using JIRA, and work with developers and stakeholders to resolve them.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitions from testing to production.
- Help build and maintain a regression test suite to support future, automated testing.
- Identify potential improvements in workflows and testing processes.
- Communicate progress, test results, and risks clearly and timely to team leads.
- Apply knowledge of data structures, data flows and business process to testing protocols.
- Demonstrate awareness of multiple environments (e.g., Dev, QA, UAT, Prod) and ensure testing occurs in the correct context.
- Apply Agile practices during testing cycles.
- Prioritize tasks effectively based on urgency, impact, and timelines.
Qualifications
- 3 or more years of experience in UAT, QA, or operational support.
- Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence for issue tracking and test management.
- Experience with test planning, defect tracking, and documentation is preferred.
- Payments, financial operations, and/or credit card processing experience is a plus.
- Ability to think critically and creatively when writing and executing test cases.
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented aptitude; a high degree of accuracy is required.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel, SQL, and other reporting tools (Salesforce experience is a plus).
- Familiarity with databases and data flows.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and testing concepts is a plus.
- Ability to manage time, stay organized, and meet testing deadlines.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player with a proactive mindset.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment.
- Team collaboration and ability to receive constructive feedback.

Annual Salary: $70-80K
