Hyperconverged Infrastructure Engineer
Remote Position
**Must have skills: Powerflex appliance- Compute and Storage only nodes.**
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Hyperconverged Infrastructure Engineer to support customers with new PowerFlex deployments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with PowerFlex Appliance, VMware, bare metal, OpenShift, Red Hat virtualization, and Nutanix. This remote residency will focus on PowerFlex Appliance configuration, deployment, and management, as well as integration with other Dell EMC products.
Key Responsibilities
* Configure and deploy PowerFlex Appliance for customer environments
* Manage PowerFlex Manager and PowerFlex Gateway for optimal performance and security
* Conduct customer handoffs and ensure seamless transition to PowerFlex
* Troubleshoot and resolve common issues with PowerFlex Appliance and related systems
* Collaborate with customers to understand their network and router requirements
* Design and implement network architectures for PowerFlex deployments
* Develop and maintain knowledge of PowerFlex Appliance software and hardware components
* Stay up-to-date with the latest PowerFlex features and enhancements
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience with PowerFlex Appliance and PowerFlex Manager
* Strong knowledge of VMware, bare metal, OpenShift, and Red Hat virtualization
* Experience with Nutanix and PowerFlex Appliance configuration and deployment
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
* Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with customers
* Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
* Strong understanding of network fundamentals and architecture
* Experience with PowerFlex Appliance and PowerFlex Manager 3.7 and later versions
* Familiarity with PowerFlex 4.5 features and enhancements
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems
Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$70,000-90,000
