  • A resource with strong experience in Azure Local lifecycle management and Dell AX systems that support Microsoft Azure Local. This individual will be responsible for planning, coordinating, documenting, and supporting platform upgrades, lifecycle activities, interoperability efforts, and version alignment across Dell infrastructure and Microsoft Azure Local environments.
    The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical depth, cross-vendor coordination, and documentation discipline to help ensure the environment remains supported, current, and aligned to future Microsoft Azure capabilities.

  • Key Responsibilities
    • Own and support Azure Local lifecycle management activities across Dell AX platforms
    • Manage and coordinate upgrades, updates, and maintenance procedures for Azure Local environments
    • Manage and coordinate upgrades, updates, and maintenance procedures for the Dell AX platforms deployed
    • Evaluate and validate Dell AX system compatibility with Microsoft Azure Local releases
    • Work with Dell, Microsoft, and other third-party vendors to support integration requirements within Azure Local environments
    • Track and assess future Microsoft Azure enhancements and determine potential impact to Dell-supported solutions
    • Develop, maintain, and improve upgrade runbooks, procedures, and operational documentation
    • Determine and maintain support matrices for Azure Local versions across relevant Dell products and configurations
    • Identify lifecycle risks, support gaps, and version dependencies, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders
    • Support testing, change planning, and release readiness for platform updates and new feature adoption
    • Provide technical guidance on platform supportability, interoperability, and lifecycle best practices
  • Required Qualifications
    • Hands-on experience with Azure Local lifecycle management
    • Strong knowledge of Dell AX systems supporting Microsoft Azure Local
    • Experience working in multi-vendor environments, including coordination with hardware, software, and platform partners
    • Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure Local architecture, releases, and roadmap direction
    • Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, including upgrade procedures, operational guides, and support documentation
    • Ability to determine and document support matrices across infrastructure platforms, software versions, and validated configurations
    • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and cross-functional communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and drive technical tasks through completion
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with Dell integrated systems, hyperconverged infrastructure, or hybrid cloud platforms
    • Familiarity with Microsoft lifecycle guidance, release management, and platform validation processes
    • Experience supporting platform upgrades, interoperability testing, and change management
    • Knowledge of supportability considerations across firmware, drivers, operating system versions, and Azure Local software releases
    • Experience engaging directly with Microsoft and OEM/vendor support teams
  • Key Deliverables
    • Azure Local lifecycle management plan for Dell AX environments
    • Documented procedures for Azure Local upgrades and update execution
    • Current and maintained support matrix for Azure versions on Dell products
    • Vendor integration guidance and issue tracking for Azure Local deployments
    • Recommendations on future Microsoft Azure enhancements relevant to the environment
    • Operational documentation to support repeatable lifecycle and upgrade activities
    Ideal Candidate Profile
    The right resource is a technically strong infrastructure professional who can bridge Dell platform knowledge, Microsoft Azure Local expertise, and cross-vendor coordination. They should be comfortable owning lifecycle processes end to end, documenting procedures clearly, and advising on version compatibility and future platform direction.

Your Day to Day will include

  • Work closely with the team to review the Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), 802.1X implementation
  • Ensure seamless integration and authentication across workstations, critical for securing and managing user access to our network.
  • Cisco ISE and 802.1X Authentication Optimization develop rules compliant with government cyber task orders..

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. $65,500-80,500
