Eliot seeks an Advanced Clinician dedicated to providing high quality behavioral health treatment and support in our innovative Community Behavioral Health Centers (CBHC) program. Eliot’s CBHCs serve as a single entry point for mental health and substance use services for youth, families and adults. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to provide evidence-based treatment to Adults utilizing sound judgment and excellent clinical skills, with the ability to provide effective, solution focused therapy to a diverse client base with a wide array of presenting challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy interventions in the office, virtually, in the community, and in client’s residence based on client preference and \need.
- Provide side-by-side therapy and interventions to individuals and families that are evidence-based, focus on problem solving, skills training, modeling behavior, and optimism and encouragement.
- Must be trained in and be able to provide targeted treatment to individuals including but not limited to CBT modalities targeting symptoms, DBT, PE, CR, EMDR, FST, TF-CBT, CAMS, family therapies, integrated dual diagnosis treatment, self-management plans, and other clinical interventions.
- Provide an experiential learning environment through shadowing to new clinical staff, support targeted treatment interventions and therapies, and also maintain and submit a competencies/orientation checklist for new clinical staff.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a current Massachusetts clinical license including LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LRC, LADCI, or be a Licensed Psychologist.
- Strong clinical skills and two years of experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illnesses and/or substance use.
- Valid drivers license
Annual Salary
$75,000 - $75,000 USD
