Eliot is seeking empathetic CBHC Recovery Coaches dedicated to providing quality treatment and support to clients. Eliot’s innovative Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) program serves as a single entry point for mental health and substance use services for youth, families and adults. Recovery Coaches are an essential part of the supportive workforce within the CBHC, playing an integral part in developing support and individualized treatment plans for clients. The ideal candidate will provide in-home support and services to clients, primarily focusing on addiction related services. This person should ensure that treatment goals are culturally competent, realistic, attainable and promote recovery.
Responsibilities:
- Provide interventions focused on problem-solving, skills training, behavior modeling, optimism, and encouragement for individuals
- Utilize lived experience to support and educate the client’s recovery
- Provide client perspectives to multidisciplinary team
- Assist the team and individuals with ongoing assessment and evaluation of symptoms and effectiveness of staff interventions
- Contribute to the development of treatment plans for each client, including triage/urgent care and CBHC team services
- Support stabilization and evaluations in the community, focusing on developing in-home support for adults during behavioral health emergencies, with an emphasis on addiction treatment
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Lived experience and sustained recovery
- Experience working with adults with mental illness/substance abuse
- Valid Massachusetts drivers license
- Certified Recovery Coach or willingness to obtain certification preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Hourly Rate
$19.23 - $23.08 USD
