Eliot is seeking supportive and dedicated Stabilization Specialists to join our Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) program. Eliot's Community Crisis Stabilization (CCS) is a twenty four hour program designed to stabilize and support adults in psychiatric distress.  This program is designed as an alternative to hospitalization providing short term overnight crisis care.  As a Stabilization Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting adults with mental illness in their individual recovery journeys. The ideal candidate should be strongly committed to recovery-oriented services, and have the skills necessary to build supportive relationships with clients and their families. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication, crisis management, and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide crisis support and stabilization services to clients
  • Deliver interventions to individuals and families focused on problem-solving, skills training, behavior modeling, optimism, and encouragement
  • Tailor interventions based on client preferences, needs, and the clinical direction of the care team
  • Offer direct support in crisis intervention, stabilization, treatment planning, and evaluation and assessment.  
  • Assist individuals with learning and utilizing coping strategies, and daily living skills
  • Complete clinical assessments and required documentation to meet standards
  • Provide short-term case management, including assistance with income, insurance, entitlements, community resources and services, as well as coordination of  medical/psychiatric appointments
  • Facilitate warm handoffs with other service providers

Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field
  • Experience working with adults or families with mental illness/substance abuse
  • Valid Massachusetts drivers license

Locations:

  • Lynn:
    • Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
    • Part-time overnight, Friday-Saturday, 11pm-7am
  • Danvers:
    • Monday-Friday, 3pm-11pm
    • Weekends part-time: Saturday 3pm-11pm and Sunday 7am-3pm
    • Overnights: Friday and Saturday 11pm-7am

 

 

Hourly Rate

$23.08 - $23.08 USD
