Eliot is seeking a strong, experienced Bachelors Level Vocational Specialist to join our Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) team. PACT is an evidence-based model that provides comprehensive treatment, rehabilitation, and support to adults with severe and persistent mental illness.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree, preferably in rehabilitation counseling along with strong clinical, job development, job coaching and assessment skills assessment.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a primary case manager to 7-15 consumers in accordance with Eliot’s policies and PACT standards
  • Provide individualized vocational support to assist consumers in identifying their strengths, barriers to work, establishing goals and ways to manage symptoms and work.
  • Take the lead role in providing vocational services to consumers on the team.
  • Develop sound and working relationships with local employers, career centers, employment advocates and DMH in order to assist consumers in finding employment.
  •  Providing job coaching to individuals employed competitively in the community.  
  • Accompany individuals to the workplace, observe their performance, and offer assistance and support as needed.  
  • Interface with the client's supervisors to ensure that the individual is completing the designated tasks as assigned. 
  • Utilize a team based approach to support and services, collaborating with colleagues and actively participating in daily meetings.
  • Participate in rotating on-call coverage and evening shifts to ensure 24/7 support for clients

Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelors degree in Rehabilitation or related field
  • Experience working with disabled adults in a vocational setting
  • Valid Massachusetts drivers license 

 

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am to 4pm with rotating evening shifts 

Annual Salary

$48,000 - $48,000 USD
