Eliot is seeking a strong, experienced Bachelors Level Vocational Specialist to join our Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) team. PACT is an evidence-based model that provides comprehensive treatment, rehabilitation, and support to adults with severe and persistent mental illness.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelors degree, preferably in rehabilitation counseling along with strong clinical, job development, job coaching and assessment skills assessment.

Responsibilities:

Act as a primary case manager to 7-15 consumers in accordance with Eliot’s policies and PACT standards
Provide individualized vocational support to assist consumers in identifying their strengths, barriers to work, establishing goals and ways to manage symptoms and work.
Take the lead role in providing vocational services to consumers on the team.
Develop sound and working relationships with local employers, career centers, employment advocates and DMH in order to assist consumers in finding employment.
Providing job coaching to individuals employed competitively in the community.
Accompany individuals to the workplace, observe their performance, and offer assistance and support as needed.
Interface with the client's supervisors to ensure that the individual is completing the designated tasks as assigned.
Utilize a team based approach to support and services, collaborating with colleagues and actively participating in daily meetings.
Participate in rotating on-call coverage and evening shifts to ensure 24/7 support for clients

Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelors degree in Rehabilitation or related field
Experience working with disabled adults in a vocational setting
Valid Massachusetts drivers license

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am to 4pm with rotating evening shifts

Annual Salary

$48,000 - $48,000 USD
