Eliot is seeking a compassionate and motivated Recovery Coach Manager to join our Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) division. ACCS  provides clinically focused, evidenced-based interventions to adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Services are person centered and are delivered by a multidisciplinary team of professionals in either residential or community based settings. The ideal candidate will have the ability to coach, guide and supervise Recovery Coaches.  

Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision and constructive feedback for ACCS recovery coaches through group meetings, individual supervision and through regular check-ins with assigned coaches across the regions.
  • Coordinate, develop and lead substance use groups related to peer support, recovery, resiliency, and resources.
  • Work in conjunction with the Director of Recovery Coach Services on hiring and providing orientation to new recovery coaches in effort to ensure understanding of the policies and procedures of ACCS. 
  • Support the development and implementation of an active resource guide relevant to navigation of addiction services.
  • Establish quarterly networking events for staff & coaches that provides ongoing training in the advancement of addiction treatment and community based supports.
  • Empower persons with substance use disorder treatment needs to exercise autonomy in all aspects of their life; assist with identifying choices and developing skills in self-advocacy.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure that clients’ perspectives are always included so that preferences are recognized, and individual choices are maximized.

Qualifications:

  • BA in human services field preferred or high school diploma/GED with at least five years’ experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance use disorders.
  • Must be certified as a Recovery Coach in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and be certified as a Recovery Coach Supervisor.
  • Two years’ experience working as a Recovery Coach required. 
  • Must be either receiving behavioral health services or received services in the past and have self-knowledge to manage mental illness with an established recovery process.

Schedule: Monday- Friday, 9am-5pm 

Annual Salary

$65,000 - $65,000 USD
