Eliot is seeking a Nurse Coordinator to join our Community Crisis Stabilization (CSS) program. Eliot's Community Crisis Stabilization is a twenty four hour program designed to stabilize and support adults in psychiatric distress. This program is designed as an alternative to hospitalization providing short term overnight crisis care. The ideal candidate is a skilled professional dedicated to providing immediate and effective support to individuals experiencing crises.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate internally and externally to ensure seamless approach to service delivery and enhance referral stream
  • Provide consultation for client admissions and discharges
  • Develop, implement and oversee a system of medication and nursing services in accordance with DPH, MBHP, and Agency standards
  • Ensure that all medications are administered, stored and dispensed in accordance with all relevant regulations 
  • Develop and implement a system of health care monitoring that ensures clients receive support accessing needed medical care 
  • Develop medical plans to ensure that all clients receive appropriate medical care while on the unit and follow up appointments on discharge 
  • Provide day to day oversight, guidance and supervision to nursing staff to include training, performance evaluation, work assignments and problem resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Valid Massachusetts RN License 
  • Two years of experience working with this population
  • Experience working in a psychiatric/substance abuse setting

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm

Annual Salary

$90,000 - $100,000 USD
