Eliot Community Human Services is looking for a Director of Mobile Crisis Intervention to lead services within the CBHC Urgent Care team. The ideal candidate for the Director of MCI is a licensed behavioral health professional with substantial supervisory experience in crisis services. They will bring strong clinical leadership, a deep understanding of mental health systems and services, and the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams in delivering strengths-based, community-oriented care. The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication, crisis management, and system coordination skills to ensure seamless service delivery. 

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage the daily operations, administrative oversight, clinical functions and service delivery of MCI services.
  • Develop and maintain a team that is able to respond to the needs of families and individuals during a psychiatric crisis, while ensuring that the treatment is strengths-based, individualized, child-centered, family-focused, community based, multi-systemic, and culturally competent.
  • Train, assist and monitor a staff of Director of Triage, Master’s Level clinicians, Bachelor’s Level clinicians and Family Partners ensuring their proficiency in the fundamentals of the wraparound service model.
  • Train, assist and monitor all staff in crisis assessment, development of safety plans
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with other providers of individual, youth, and family services in the community to strengthen referral stream both inside and outside of Eliot.

Qualifications

  • Requires a Master’s degree in social work or counseling, with corresponding independent licensure (LICSW / LMHC) 
  • Four years of clinical experience, two of which were in a supervisory role. 
  • Expertise providing behavioral health and crisis services to individuals, children and families with solid understanding of the mental health system and services available.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm

Annual Salary

$95,000 - $100,000 USD
