Eliot is seeking a Dietitian Manager to join our Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) division. Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) provides clinically focused evidenced based interventions to adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Services are person centered and are delivered by a multidisciplinary team of professionals in either residential or community-based settings.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting adults with mental illness by setting and working toward individualized nutritional goals. They will understand the connection between diet and mental well-being and be able to provide practical, supportive guidance as part of a holistic care teams.
Responsibilities:
- Directs and supervises the activities performed by registered dieticians, licensed nutritionists and/or dietitian interns as mandated by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Dietitians/Nutritionists.
- Coordinates, delegates, and supervises responsibilities assigned to supportive staff (by registered dieticians, licensed nutritionists, etc.).
- Provide support to all staff members in assessing clinical/medical crisis, the changing needs of Persons and intervening to assist Persons on a daily basis. Provide daily training and direction to all staff members in order to best respond to Person needs.
- Conduct nutrition screenings, assessments, and documentation, and facilitate care coordination.
- Observe and evaluate Persons to identify conditions and needs as assigned and work with Team to determine appropriate course of action to support Person.
Qualifications:
- Requires a Master's degree in Nutrition or related field
- At least two years of experience working with adults with severe mental illness
- Must have CDR credentials (RDN) and State Licensure (LDN).
- Valid Massachusetts drivers license
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm
Annual Salary
$75,000 - $85,000 USD
