Eliot is seeking a Program Manager to join our Community Behavioral Health Center’s (CBHC) Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention (YMCI) team. Eliot’s CBHC program serves as a single point of entry for mental health and substance use services for youth, families, and adults.

In this role, the Program Manager will lead and oversee a team that provides 24/7 mobile crisis response to youth and families experiencing psychiatric emergencies. The Program Manager will ensure that services are responsive, individualized, and grounded in a strengths-based, child-centered, and family-focused approach. Care will be community-based, multi-systemic, and culturally responsive, with a focus on supporting youth and families in the least restrictive setting possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Train, assist and monitor a staff of Master’s Level clinicians, Bachelor’s Level clinicians and Family Partners ensuring their proficiency in the fundamentals of the wraparound service model.
  • Train, assist and monitor all staff in crisis assessment, development of safety plans and continually assure such plans / assessments emphasize family skill building, utilizing natural supports, and collaboration with established treatment providers.
  • Ensure linkage and coordination to community-based treatment options to minimize the need for out of home, more restrictive placements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with other providers of youth and family services in the community to strengthen referral streams both inside and outside of Eliot.
  • Ensure the single point of entry for all youth behavioral health services within Eliot, including CSA, is followed by all staff.
  • Be the primary liaison between Youth MCI and CSA, including providing supervision to CSA embedded staff, tracking and monitoring referrals, participating in CSA meetings as necessary, and supporting the partnership between Youth MCI and CSA. 

Qualifications:

  • Requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field with corresponding independent licensure 
  • Four years of clinical experience
  • Two years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Expertise providing behavioral health and crisis services to children and families with solid understanding of the mental health system and services available in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm

Annual Salary

$90,000 - $95,000 USD
