Vice President of Procurement and Facilities (Hybrid)
JOB SUMMARY
The Vice President Procurement and Facilities will lead strategic vendor initiatives, build strategic working relationships with all key vendors, and work with all functional leaders across the organization to ensure the best quality equipment and materials are utilized at the best pricing for the Company. The Vice President of Procurement and Facilities will own the end-to-end procurement process, including the request for proposal (RFP) process, financial analysis, sourcing strategy, supplier negotiations, and ongoing supplier relationship management. The Vice President of Procurement and Facilities will ensure that each Company-leased property is maintained in its best possible operating condition and within budget. The Vice President of Procurement and Facilities will directly manage the maintenance of Company-leased properties, including ensuring the accountability of landlords in responsibility as delineated in applicable lease agreements, managing the RFP process, and ensuring that maintenance, repair and construction projects are successful and occur with minimal interruption to business.
SALARY RANGE: 175,000.00- 225,000.00

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works closely with key stakeholders to develop and implement effective purchasing/sourcing strategies for identified functions to ensure quality of services that are cost-effective.
- Manages the entire (RFP) process and leads all negotiation efforts.
- Develops and approves new suppliers, products, and services to maintain competitiveness and flexibility.
- Builds strong rapport with suppliers and obtains access to supplier senior management.
- Conducts detailed spend analysis and bench-marking, evaluates market and competitive conditions using those as a basis to create data-driven procurement activities.
- Identifies and manages cost drivers and analyzes lifecycle costing challenges.
- Implements multi-year strategic alliances with suppliers to leverage company-wide volume, reducing the number of vendors to an optimum number while maintaining excellent quality of goods and services.
- Tracks, analyzes and publishes market trends on key supplies.
- Partners with functional leaders and legal on contract negotiations, where required.
- Establishes cross-functional teams when necessary to complete the RFP process, negotiations, or to achieve any key procurement activities timely.
- Ensures smooth and timely implementations once programs/vendors are selected.
- Ensure that each Company-leased property is maintained in its best possible operating condition and within budget.

OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s of Business or related field of study and three to five years of procurement experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Two to three years of experience leading RFPs including preparing for and writing the RFPs, evaluating proposals, and executing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred: Professional certification as C.P.M. (Certified Purchasing Manager)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven negotiation skills
- Proficiency with analysis/reporting tools
- Excellent written and oral communication with the ability to present before executive leadership and the board of directors when needed
- Demonstrated ability to prepare requests for proposals and executing upon them
- Proven ability to gather and interpret complex quantitative or qualitative data
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Excellent project management skills, PMP certification a plus
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to travel for work as needed, by airplane and automobile
- Ability to work in an office setting 100% of the time
