JOB SUMMARY

 

The Director of Human Resources is responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support the organization’s international operations. This role involves overseeing talent management, organizational development, compliance, employee relations, and HR policies across multiple regions. The director ensures that HR initiatives align with business objectives while fostering a diverse, inclusive, and high-performance culture.

SALARY RANGE: $155,000-$165,000

BONUS ELIGIBLE: Yes

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Strategic HR Leadership:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals.
  • Partner with executive leadership to drive workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning.
  • Ensure HR policies and programs support the organization’s mission and values.

Talent Management & Development:

  • Implement leadership development and training programs.
  • Foster a strong organizational culture through employee engagement initiatives.
  • Provide direction and support to HR Team to ensure seamless execution of all programs and processes and foster each team members’ professional development

Compliance & Employee Relations:

  • Ensure HR policies comply with employment and labor laws and regulations in all states.
  • Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures.
  • Address employee relations issues and provide guidance on conflict resolution.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Oversee competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Conduct benchmarking to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Work with finance and legal teams to ensure cost-effective and compliant total rewards strategies.

Performance Management & Organizational Development:

  • Implement performance management frameworks to drive employee growth.
  • Lead change management initiatives and workforce restructuring when necessary.
  • Align HR strategies with evolving business needs.

HR Technology & Analytics:

  • Leverage HR analytics to make data-driven decisions to further support business objectives
  • Optimize HR systems and tools for efficiency and scalability

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):

  • Promote DEI initiatives across the organization.
  • Develop programs to support an inclusive and equitable workplace.

 

OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Provides clear direction to achieve goals, creating an environment that fosters team commitment and employee engagement while being resilient and flexible, and inspiring and motivating the team.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

 

  • Bachelor's degree required with a human resources or business emphasis; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant HR experience, ideally in a healthcare organization
  • Minimum 3 years' supervisory experience required
  • Experience with annual benefits renewal processes, including designing programs and negotiating pricing in partnership with a benefits broker, and developing a communication strategy
  • Demonstrated ability in providing HR consultation to senior leadership
  • Excellent influencing skills at all levels in the organization and extreme flexibility to be proactive in a fast pace, ever changing environment
  • Experience in developing, implementing and monitoring programs/processes that drive business results
  • Knowledge of lawful employment practices (Federal and State)

  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems. 
  • Proven ability to drive performance, metric outcomes and collaborate cross departmentally to help meet and exceed organizational goals.  
  • Self-starter who excels in a fast paced, data driven environment.
  • Strong ability to effectively lead a team and influence others.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods, often seated
  • Entering text by typing on keyboard for lengthy periods
  • Ability to communicate, understand and distinguish speech

Salaried Rate

$155,000 - $165,000 USD
