Part-Time Talent Acquisition Intern

JOB SUMMARY

The Talent Acquisition Intern will work directly with the Talent Acquisition (TA) team to support recruiting operations and strategic talent acquisition initiatives. This position will collaborate with multiple departments to assist with candidate sourcing, data integration, and applicant tracking system (ATS) support. This position is Hybrid-preferred, with the option to be Remote for the right candidate.

The TA Intern will gain hands-on experience in AI-powered sourcing, ATS, and HRIS support. A significant focus of the role will be utilizing AI tools and external sourcing platforms to identify potential candidates, gather and organize candidate information, and transfer relevant data into the ATS. The Intern will also support ongoing data clean up and maintenance to ensure candidate and employee records are accurate, complete, organized, and up to date. This role provides an opportunity to gain practical experience with emerging HR and recruiting technologies while helping maintain high-quality data and efficient recruiting processes.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilize AI-powered tools and external sourcing platforms to identify and research potential candidates across a variety of talent pools and recruiting channels
  • Conduct candidate sourcing activities, gathering relevant candidate information and organizing data for entry into the ATS
  • Transfer and maintain candidate information in the ATS, ensuring data is entered accurately, consistently, and completely
  • Perform ongoing ATS data cleanup and maintenance, including reviewing candidate records, identifying duplicate or outdated information, correcting data inconsistencies, and ensuring records remain accurate and up to date
  • Monitor data quality within the ATS and HRIS and identify opportunities to improve data accuracy, consistency, organization, and reporting capabilities
  • Assist with ATS administration, including opening job requisitions, updating job postings, maintaining candidate records, and ensuring positions are accurately distributed to external job boards
  • Monitor external job boards and sourcing platforms to verify job postings are active, accurate, and properly represented, and troubleshoot posting issues as needed

OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Stay informed on recruiting best practices, AI advancements, and emerging technologies that support TA
  • Assist with special recruiting initiatives, hiring campaigns, and continuous improvement projects
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and cross-functional projects to gain exposure to TA operations and contribute to team success

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree (or currently working toward completion) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, ADP, ERP systems a plus
  • Prior internship or administrative experience preferred but not required.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 25lbs.

Hourly rate

$18 - $18 USD
